French Doors Replaced With Picture Window

Homeowner never used the dining room French doors and wanted them replaced with a picture window.  A window sill had to be constructed 16" on center for the new window to rest on. New insulation, sheathing, vapor barrier, and T-111 siding to match was added. Interior received sheetrock and texture, while homeowner did the final painting. Trim from around the door was repurposed as the trim around the window, saving the homeowner from purchasing more material. In the final picture, the homeowner wanted to finish the project himself with a coat of paint to match the existing exterior.
